Photographed from Khao Hin Lek Fai Hua Hin in early January 2009, using just a leaning monopod and no expensive equipment besides a Canon EOS 450D, cheap Canon 70-300 mm zoom lens and said monopod. The panorama contains over two gigapixels (it is over 100,000 pixels wide and over 20,000 pixels high), and was stitched from 450 images with 12 MegaPixels each. Printed at 300dpi the image would be 28 feet or 8.6 meters wide. Stitching into a Photoshop Large Document was done with PTGui 8 Pro and tiling with GigaTiler. Happy Zooming!
